2024 Week 2 Newsletter - Term 2
WEEKLY FOCUS - A couple of key messages
Important Points to Remember
As mentioned in last week's newsletter, every second week will see reduced content to just a few essential messages for families. We hope this makes staying connected with the school more manageable.
- ANZAC Day this Thursday 25th April - Our school will be joining in the ANZAC Day March on Thursday. Participating students are asked to meet us at 10:15am down below Westpac Bank in Goondoon Street, wearing full formal school uniform and wide brimmed school hat (and water bottle). We will sit together as a school and children can be collected after the ceremony in ANZAC Park. Thank you to those families who reached out to help with Dawn Service. We have our School Leaders presenting a wreath at this ceremony.
- ANZAC Day Liturgy - Wednesday 24 April at 8:35am
- Band & Bell Performance - Wednesday 1st May at 8:35am
- Please update your media permissions in Parent Lounge - Last year there was a change in our online student data system which defaulted all families to NO. This doesn't affect Prep and Year 1 students. We have emailed the families that need to check as this affects school funding.
- Student hair styles - Please check the School Uniform Policy on our website. Hair should be neat and pulled back if it touches their collar. No tracks or shaving below guage 2 please.
